Kathleen and I visited Breedon on the Hill, this is a pretty little village in Leics.every week they have an Antiques Fair and we love to browse, the best stall has the most beautiful vintage linen including bedlinen, we spend quite a lot of time at this stall. This time we climbed the hill to the lovely church it was a beautiful day and the views from the top were breathtaking, on the way up, there were pretty little cottages with roses and honeysuckle around the doors we did a lot of oohing and aahing
as we went past choosing the one's we would like to live in, it's lovely to dream.
This is the block I have been working on in my online class, it has been a lovely experience and one i will definitely do again. I have been learning about silk ribbon embroidery, embroidery stitches and beading and I have learn't such a lot. The little needle case was made the first time I tried ribbon embroidery and I loved doing french knots. I still have a great deal to learn but I am enjoying the journey.
