Bunting, Bunting and yet more Bunting

Hi Good Morning, as you can see from the state of my Dining Room table I am busy making bunting fro Kate's wedding. I have about another25 metre's to do but it is looking reallypretty. Can you see the snow through the window it is really getting boring now I have definitely had enough. I do not know how people cope who have to deal with this stuff all winter it is a real pain, even if it is very pretty, the birds are all trying to find food and the lovely crab apple in my next door neighbours garden is slowly being stripped of fruit by the Redwings and Thrushes and blackbirds. Well I had better get myself in the shower and get on with some work, I have a quilt waiting to be quilted and lots of books to read. See you soon.

Can it Get any Colder!!

Hello People, it is so cold here, and there is more snow forcast for today. I have just been out to top up the bird feeders and to break the ice on the bird bath and my feet nearly fell off they were so cold. I am definitely not going out today I think I will sort out my wardrobe and get rid of stuff I have been holding on to until I can fit into it, Why do we do that? Once that is done I aim to get stuck in to my bedroom decorating I have so many lovely new things to put in my bedroom so I have to get on with the painting etc. I am also going to make a large pot of soup probably Leek & Potato, this is everyone's favourite and maybe later on sit and machine some more bunting, it's coming on only another 40 metres to do.

Christmas is Back in it's Box

O.K Christmas is officially over can we please look forward to spring now, I have lots of buds appearing on things and Kathleen and I are off to the Garden Centre Sale tomorrow. Last year we bought loads of Christmas items that were on sale lovely decorations and things lots of things. We shall also eat a huge Scone and drink a huge cup of coffee to give us strength to go around again and the new plants will be starting to appear. It is a pretty day here today the frost is starting to melt in the lovely sunshine and I have been watching the birds eating all the goodies we have put out, my greateat thrill over christmas was to finally get Goldfinches eating in my garden they are so pretty. If we could just get the squirrels to stop eating all the fat balls life would be perfect.
