All Ladies

This little sign is so important for all ladies, good work is being done to find ways to help but more is needed. I am sewing like mad at the moment for this charity and that is why I have not posted much lately. I will try to rectify this next week.

Awards

The post before this one is a friendship award, kindly passed onto me by beedeebabee, the rules are I must pass on this award to six other blogs who must attach the following text when they award it to someone. So here goes, I have so many lovely friends that I find this quite difficult. The text you must attach is as follows:-

This award is bestowed on the blogs that are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propogated. Please give more attention to these writers, deliver this award to six bloggers, who must choose six more and include this cleverly written text.

My awards go to:-

Lauriestar.
Crazymomquilting
Feedsack Fantasy
Scrappy Quilter
Fourdogdays
and of course my lovely cottonreel

I of course would like to give everyone one of these as I love all my blog friends.

A lovely Award.

I recaived this award from Beedeebabee, she has a beautiful blog and she makes the most exquisite brooches (Pins) her work is so fine. I love it that she thinks of me as one of her blog friends, she is always bubbly and happy and it's a pleasure to know her.

The Finished Product

This is the bag I mentioned below, I made the outside shell but did not know how to line and add handles so my lovely Kathleen helped me.

A Lovely Day

Hello, what a lovely day I have had with Kathleen (Cottonreel) she taught me to make this bag which I am thrilled with, she taught me to make a book cover which I decorated when I got home and put a bookmark in it, thats another little pink check heart at the bottom but it does'nt show up very well on here, and then she taught me to make these two gift bags which are lovely. I am not a bag person but now I have learnt how to do them properly I will make more, it is always the handles and lining that confuse me. Kathleen was so patient although she did make fun of the speed my machine was going which made us laugh, I have to be careful machines scare me a bit. I also took the shell of a bag I had made and she showed me how to add the lining and handles I will post a photo of that in a minute. It was a tiring day because I was concentrating so much but I felt such satisfaction at making these lovely things. My friend Kathleen is the best she has such a big heart and is always giving her time and makes you laugh too.

Busy Busy Lady

Hello, sorry I have'nt posted for a few days but I seem to be running around chasing my tail trying to get everything done at the moment. Tony has finished his Mom & Dads garden and it looks great and he has nearly finished painting the house, he is a busy busy boy. I am sewing a lot at the moment because my daughter is doing a charity event for the Eve Appeal (Ovarian Cancer Charity) she has asked me to do a stall so I am busy making things to sell. Tomorrow is a holiday here but my husband is working so I am going arount to Kathleens (Cottonreels) and we are having a sewing and learning day, she teaches me things, I forget them and so she teaches me again until they go into my thick head. I am really looking forward to it, we will chat and drink tea and giggle all day, Perfect!!!
