I was just happily sanding down two of the drawers from my chest of drawers ready to antique wax and splat! I nearly took the top of my thumb off on the drawer lock, I did say a few choice words for which I ask forgiveness and then I proceeded to plaster my thumb and stick on a polythene bag to keep it clean and finished the job. I learnt this trick from Irv. at
four dog daywho had a sore finger, thanks Irv, this was a really useful tip, my chest of drawers is now finished and looks beautiful in my bedroom. I am off to do some sewing now, enjoy your day.

ouch!!! I have done that too, its very sore.....
Uh-oh! I think it's perfectly OK that you said those words! ;-) Sometimes they help!
Hugs to you!

Oh my, you brave woman. You went right back to work too. I would have called it a day at that point. Hope your thumb is doing better today.
Thank you for visiting my bog. If you would like inspiration for mini scrapbook albums, may I suggest you browse YouTube. Theres so much there that it will blow you away and really get your creative juices flowing. There are some really wonderful tutorials too. Through YouTube you will be able to see how everything is done much better than through a still shot on a blog. I can't seem to get enough of YouTube and have been spending way too much time there looking for mini scrapbook inspiration.
Take care!
Hi Jill! Thank you for your sweet comments about my rag quilt. Since I do not have a tutorial for it and because there are many rag quilt tutorials on the web, I thought that I'd refer to an excellent one that I found:

This quilt is quick and easy to make but there is quite a bit of snipping to do and quite a bit of lint to deal with. Have fun!
Aloha!
Ow-EEEEEEE! Take care of that finger.
Happy Mother's Day ~
