Ruffler Foot

I have had an afternoon using my ruffler foot for the first time, I made this cushion, the picture is of an old gardening leaflet for Scotts Seeds I printed it onto white cotton and used it for a centre panel I am really pleased with the result.
Kathleen and I had a good day yesterday we went to Weedon in Northampton to one of the most popular quilters shops, we had a good look around and bought some fabrics, there were some really lovely Tilda fabrics and Kathleen has a yen to do some prim work and so bought the appropriate fabric. We decided to go a different way home and found a lovely craft centre wih lots of different shops and a nice restaurant so we had lunch there, the sun shone all day and we had a good journey home. I forgot to say we booked a class to make a lovely cushion called Summer Street, the class is in March but we are going back before then to the SALE.

The cushion looks lovely. What do you think of the ruffler foot? I am tempted to get one to add to my growing collection(!). How wonderful to spend a day out and indulge your passion.

What a sweet pillow! Beautiful both front and back. Your afternoon of visiting craft stores and enjoying lunch together sounds like a real treat.
