A little More Crazy Embroidery

I have done a little more embroidery on my crazy quilt, I am enjoying learning all these new stitches. I also added some buttons and lace the three lace flowers were cut from an old piece of vintage lace which I found when we visited one of the antique fairs. I am learning a little more about Silk ribbon embroidery, I love it but I am not terribly confident with it yet.
The square with the J is my March block for the CQJP project I have lots more to do to it.
It is a freezing cold day today so I have contented myself with sewing in the warm, I have also made a lovely warming dinner for my husband Tony of Lamb Shanks with seasonal veg. it is cooking right now and will stay in the oven until the meat falls off the bone, I have also made Bread and Butter pudding, real comfort food. I am off now to read my crazy patchwork mags. from Pat Winter I can't wait for the next one.

Sweet color choices and your stitching is coming along beautifully. It looks like you have some cottons mixed in. I love CQing with cottons. They "behave" so much better than the slippery fabrics and are just as beautiful and charming.
